General Trip Terms

Every trip includes a fixed kilometer (KM) limit. Any usage beyond this limit will attract additional charges per extra kilometer, along with applicable GST. For transparency, passengers are advised to verify the odometer reading at the start and end of the journey.

If you’ve opted to pay the driver directly (in part or full), please cooperate in making timely payments as per the agreed arrangement during the trip.

The trip includes one pickup from the departure city and one drop-off at the destination city. Travel within the city limits (at either end) is not covered. Multiple pickups or drops are subject to the driver’s discretion and may incur additional charges.

During hill climbs, the air conditioning (AC) may be turned off to maintain vehicle performance.

If you prefer a specific route, you may suggest it to the driver (restricted to National or State Highways). However, the final route may vary due to road conditions, weather, or other unavoidable circumstances. Any additional kilometers, tolls, or state taxes resulting from a route change will be chargeable accordingly.

For airport pickups or drops, applicable airport entry or parking fees (if mandatory) are not included in the fare and must be paid separately. Please collect the official receipt directly from the concerned authority or the driver.

Toll, interstate taxes, and parking charges are included in the displayed fare. These rates are subject to change as per government notifications. In case of any revisions post-booking, the difference (increase or decrease) will be applicable and payable by the customer.

DhamCabs reserves the right to recover the cost of any intentional damage caused to the vehicle’s interior or exterior by the passenger.

Any billing-related concerns or discrepancies must be reported within 24 hours of receiving the invoice.

Drivers will wait up to 45 minutes from the scheduled pickup time. Beyond this, the booking will be considered canceled with No Refund. In case of mutual consent, waiting charges will apply as follows:

  • Light Vehicle: ₹150 per Hour
  • Traveller: ₹300 per Hour

The maximum permissible waiting time (with mutual agreement) is 2 hours after 45 minutes from the scheduled pickup time.

Driver Allowance
  • Day Allowance – Light Vehicle: ₹275 | Traveller: ₹450
  • Night Halt (9 PM – 6 AM) – Light Vehicle: ₹400 | Traveller: ₹600

GST @ 5% will be applicable on the total billing amount.

All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Krishnanagar, West Bengal only.

Cancellations & Itinerary Changes

Bookings can be canceled up to 2 hours before the trip without any cancellation fee. However, to avoid inconvenience to drivers, early cancellations are appreciated.

Cancellations made within 2 hours of pickup time or failure to show up at the designated location (without prior notice) will be considered a “No Show”. In such cases, DhamCabs may deduct up to 100% of the advance payment to compensate the driver for the loss.

DhamCabs reserves the right to cancel any trip with at least 2 hours prior notice in case of unforeseen circumstances such as strikes, curfews, natural calamities, or non-serviceable locations.

In the rare event of a vehicle breakdown during the trip:
  • If the breakdown occurs within 50 KM of the trip start, no charges will be applied.
  • If it occurs beyond 50 KM, you’ll receive a 50% discount on the distance traveled up to that point.
  • If an alternate vehicle is available, DhamCabs will attempt to dispatch it within 1 hour, excluding travel time to your location. If you choose not to wait, the above settlement terms will apply.

Although vehicles undergo checks before every trip, occasional AC malfunctions may occur. If AC failure happens, you’ll receive a ₹1 per KM discount for the distance traveled without AC. The driver will make every effort to restore functionality during the trip.

Dos and Don’ts During the Trip
  • Bookings are made for a vehicle category, not a specific model. For instance, if you select “Toyota Etios or equivalent,” the vehicle may be Toyota Etios, Maruti Dzire, Mahindra Verito, Hyundai Accent, etc., depending on availability.
  • Please ensure all personal belongings are collected at the end of the trip. DhamCabs will assist in locating lost items but shall not be held liable for any loss or damage.
  • Drivers are entitled to short tea and meal breaks, which can be coordinated mutually during the journey.
  • Any additional payments made directly to the driver (beyond the official fare) are the customer’s responsibility. DhamCabs shall not process reimbursements for such transactions.
  • Smoking and consuming alcohol are strictly prohibited inside the vehicle. Passengers may request brief stops for smoking breaks if needed.
